The Pen of a Ready Writer

Pen of a Ready Writer March
I have a ‘pet peeve’, “Words”. Go figure that I run a newspaper. Words are powerful. The written word is powerful. Even more so is the spoken word.
When I named this column I didn’t realize the saying Pen of a Ready Writer came from scripture. My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. PS 45:1
Since I can’t recite my good theme, I’ll use my pen.
Words- my thing – my craft- spoken out loud, have the power to build up and to break down, not just when you say them to people, but especially when you say them about yourself or your circumstances.
Jesus said speak to the mountain, (Matt 21:21) and you will have what you say. What do you say you have? The Bible says you are blessed and highly favored by the Most High God who created you. Consider this poem I wrote and watch your words this month.
Have what you say?
What if it’s true?
Words.
That whatever you
Say,
You can have or you get!
“I am scared to death.”
According to His Word, His Promises
Words
Powerful, sharp.
“You make me sick.”
Could we bridle the tongue?
That’s foolishness you say,
I have tried it, it doesn’t work.
What did you
Say?
Pregnant with failure or success
Should we not buy clothes for the baby?
Follow through
Till victory, not ceasing.
Would it hurt-injure-hinder?
Say. Believe. The Answer
Refuse to acknowledge the problem.
Speaking solutions. Faith.
“I feel sick. It’s my allergies.
I’m taking the flu. I have cancer.”
I have “The Blood”!
